Glen Ruth Tops MAGS 10th Sale

At the recent 10th Anniversary MAGS Sale in Charters Towers, Glen Ruth topped both the Bull and Female Sections.

At the Special night female Sale, Glen Ruth Eve topped the market selling for $7250 to the Stewart-Moore family, 'Telemon Stud', Hughenden. Eve, sired by Cashmere GJ, had an impressive bull calf at foot by Glenlands Noonday.

The following day at the 10th MAGS Bull Sale, Glen Ruth Ferrari sold to a sale high of $27'000 to Peter and Ann Woollett's 'Pegasus Park stud'. Sired by first season sire Cashmere Isaac, Ferrari was the heaviest bull among the MAGS draft weighing 920 kgs still being a milk tooth. Another Isaac son took second top honours at $26'000. Cashmere Leeroy  purchased by the Farmer family, 'Comanche Stud', Glenroy was the highest EMA bull of the day at 140cm2. Comanche stud also purchased a son of Glen Ruth Cuban, another first season sire, being Glen Ruth Film Star for $11'000. Another Cuban son topped the Farnham draft. Farnham Morton was purchased by  Bode family, 'Percol Plains', for $19'000.
